Hear ye!! Hear ye!! Add this book to your list of Christian/Faith Based novels now!

If you’re looking for a book to tickle every emotion, this will definitely do the trick. I have read other books by Francine Rivers¬†(The Shofar Blew…ensure you read that too…especially young women in the early stages of marriage to young pastors and even those developing…I’ll probably do a review on that book too ūüėȬ†) and there’s no question that she’s a greatly inspired writer. In¬†A Voice in the Wind, Rivers brings readers back to the first century and introduces them to Hadassah – a character they will never forget…no kidding!

  • her status: orphaned
  • Set in an era of oppression and war
  • Secret of her lineage and belief in Christ
  • Woman who found favor in the King’s court

And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.¬†Esther 2:7
